Accessories
A range of standard radiation tolerant accessories are available for
each of the cameras. These include LED and Halogen lights, microphones
and wiper units and non-browning lenses. In addition, there is a variety
of mounting options available for each camera as well as manipulator
adaptors that enable remote maintenance.
Camera Control Unit ( CCU )
This controls the camera functions including zoom, focus,
auto/manual iris and video gain. It is available in a standard 2 U
high19”rack though other
configurations can be used

Radiation Tolerant Pan & Tilt Units
A range of pan and tilt units are available from the basic models
for simple operation but sealed to IP66, to the high specification PT524
which will operate in radiation fields of 106 Rads/hr and
accumulated dose of 108 Rads. All models are remotely
controlled, usually from a Camera Control Unit, using simple and
reliable 9 core cable, which is also used for powering the cameras and
any lights or accessories present.

LED Light
This will provide a cold light of low power consumption, high
brightness and infinitely variable intensity.

Halogen light
This is available in 35W or 50W versions. The standard stainless
steel case is submersible to 50m, and the light brightness is variable.

Wiper Units
These are camera mounted for use in hostile environments where
condensation may be encountered.

|
Cables
Available in a variety of materials including PVC or radiation hard
polyurethane.

|
Lenses
Supplied to suit clients particular requirements. A range of
radiation tolerant, non-browning lenses are available.

Quick Release Mechanisms
These are supplied for manipulator detachment/installation. They
also allow options for remote operation.

Microphones
Radiation hard to 108 Rads.
Frequency response of 150Hz to 8kHz radiation.
Available in a stainless steel case Audio receiver/equaliser unit
provides interface between microphones and audio system matrix and
outputs. Audio output unit is a self-contained amplifier with integral speaker
and volume control for use with the audio system.
