Radiation Tolerant Products As a result of our many years experience in testing and certifying equipment as being radiation tolerant, and through teaming arrangements with particular manufactures, Raditec has been supplying the international nuclear industry with a range of radiation tolerant proximity detectors and motors for some time.

Proximity Detectors:
In partnership with Klaschka GmbH, we supply the international nuclear industry with a range of radiation tolerant inductive proximity detectors. When combined with a range of interface cards these detectors are the only certified radiation tolerant proximity system currently available. Typical applications include:

Automated plant.
Door interlocks.
Crane travel.
Vessel detection.

Features:

Non contact product.
Option of flush and non flush mounting models.
Radiation tolerant to 100 kGy or 1 MGy depending on model.
Can be supplied with screened and unscreened cables up to a length of 300m.
Intrinsically safe model available.

Brushless Servo Motors.
Through partnership arrangements we have developed a range of radiation tolerant brushless servo motors. Together with a complementary range of servo drives these provide the nuclear industry with the only radiation tolerant servo motor system currently available. The motors are available in a range of basic frame sizes and torques.

Compact, brushless motor design.

Radiation tolerant to 1 MGy.
