New Ionisation Chamber – IG5T
Centronic are pleased to announce the launch of a new model
within the Ionisation Chamber range. Identified by its new yellow colour, the
IG5T is a large, high-pressure chamber (up to 15 atmospheres of filling gas
based on the Standard IG5 but offering an enhanced low energy response to extend
the boundaries of high sensitivity gamma measurement.
It has been developed in response to market demands for a chamber which offers
improved low energy response whilst still retaining the high sensitivity of the
well established IG5. Measurement of dose rates down to approximately 1 µR/hr
can typically be achieved, although optimum performance is dependant on the
capability of the measuring electronics and some users are able measure well
below this level. HN Connectors are fitted as standard though other options are
available on request.
