Centronic achieves successful transition to the 2004 version of the Environmental Management System BS EN ISO 14001.
After a six month transitional period it was confirmed on the 16th August 2005 that Centronic Limited had successfully updated our existing BS EN ISO 14001 systems to meet the requirements of the 2004 version.
A six month programme was established with British Standards Institute to implement these changes. Key changes to the standard are providing evidence of compliance to legislation, changes to the Policy, Training of external contractors (working on behalf of the company), external document control, and Management reviews covering assessing opportunities for improvement.
This is a major achievement for Centronic as the deadline for completion was May 2006 and BSI congratulated Centronic on their success in the closing report.
