Firms go for gold with links to China

Date: 11 Apr 2012

Croydon businesspeople were given advice on how they can break into the world's largest export market at a seminar held at Croydon Park Hotel.

David Fairweather, sales manager of Centronic, was among the speakers providing advice on how to go to gold at the event hosted by Croydon-based business support organisation South London Business.

The company exports its radiation monitors to China and Mr Fairweather said: "Being in partnership with a good distributor is vital because they handle everything from Chinese tax to export licence and arranging for us to get a visa for working meetings."
