Centronic announced at Photonics West 2010 a new series of infrared photodiodes for the wavelength region 1µm to 2.4 µm. The extended range InGaAs devices are available in a range of packages with and without thermoelectric cooling. Further details on these devices, designated the 9IR series can be found in the data sheet.

Centronic announced at Photonics West 2009 that their full range of silicon photodetectors is now available through their Houston Facility. The Houston operation also used Photonics West to announce two new products, available globally. The silicon quadrant electron detector and new range of hybrid photodiodes generated a high degree of interest at the event which was attended by over 17000 visitors in the heart of Silicon Valley.

New Coil Wound Components business

Centronic Limited, Croydon, England announce today, 21^st January 2009, the launch of a new business activity manufacturing high-specification electro-magnetic coils. The new products will initially be targeted at high-end avionics applications and will also support new and existing customers across a wide range of sensing and instrumentation technologies. New manufacturing and sales facility in Houston, Texas

Centronic Group is pleased to announce the opening of a new manufacturing and sales facility, Centronic LLC, based in Houston, Texas. The business has been established in order to manufacture and supply a range of gas tube products that are complimentary to the existing Centronic catalogue. The offering will initially consist of high temperature Geiger Müller tubes, Pancakes and He3 counters. In addition to this activity, the business will also offer the full range of existing Centronic products to the North American market. Centronic LLC is currently recruiting staff at all levels and installing production lines in the factory. Production is planned to commence at the end of March 2008 with a full service becoming available by the end of April.
